First Aid at Work
(3 days)

This 3 day course is best for those whose environment has been assessed as medium or high risk, and covers many more conditions than the Emergency First Aid at Work  (1 day) course.  In an environment where employees might be at greater risk of for example fractures, or burns, then this will be the most appropriate course.  It meets the guidelines of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) in this respect.  See the syllabus below:

Emergency First Aid at Work
(1 day)

This is a 1 day course designed to meet the Health and Safety Executive’s guidelines for low risk environments, such as offices.  It does not cover the breadth of injuries that are covered by the more comprehensive 3 day First Aid at Work course, but still delivers the main aims of addressing CPR (including defibrillator training), major bleeds, choking, and others.  See the syllabus below:

Basic Life Support
(4 hours)

This is a course designed for people to learn the basics of emergency first aid.  Like the two other courses, it also covers CPR and the use of defibrillators.  It is often the course choice in comparatively low risk environments such the care sector.  See the syllabus below:
